The following PowerPoint slides present topical highlights from 52 weeks of anthro in the news and the Maggie Awards, named after one of the world’s most famous anthropologists, and bestowed in categories such as the most noted nonhuman primate award, the most noted archaeological site award, the most noted cultural group, and more.
The presentation was prepared for the final lecture in Barbara Miller’s fall 2010 introductory cultural anthropology class.
